How to Enable Service Password Recovery?

Mình gặp sự cố như thế này, mình đặt password cho Router và sau đó vào mode config đánh câu lệnh : no service password recovery

Một ngày đẹp trời mình quên mất pass, thế là mình tiến hành recovery password, hic nhưng chức năng này bị mình disable mất tiêu rùi.
Vậy các bạn có cách nào để enable lại chức năng password recovery giúp mình không?

Khi bạn đã dùng lệnh này rồi, thì không thể sử dụng chức năng recovery pass theo cách thông thường được nữa, mà phải xóa luôn file config. Tham khảo :

There are only a few methods you can use to recover from a lost password, but all of them destroy the start-up configuration.

Routers that have nonvolatile RAM (NVRAM) chips can be removed and reseated. The NVRAM is implemented with battery-backed up static RAM (SRAM). If you remove the SRAM, the contents of NVRAM are erased as well as the no service password-recovery configuration. Be sure to use proper anti-static procedures when you handle the NVRAM. Some of these routers are 3640 and 3660.

Other routers, such as the 1700, 2600, and 3620, use an electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) in order to hold the configuration. The EEPROM does not erase when you remove it.

Another method is to reload or boot the router with console access, and press CTRL-BREAK within five to ten seconds of the Cisco IOS software image decompressing or roughly when the "Image text-base:... " part of the banner begins. You are then prompted to reset the router to factory default (erase start-up configuration).

Chào bạn,

Các bước làm cơ bản như sau:

B1: Bật điện router
B2: Chờ router boot tới các dấu thăng #####
B3: ##################[OK] Khi xuất hiện chữ [OK] này thì đợi 5 giây.
B4: Sau khi đếm đủ 5 giây thì nhấn Ctrl + break liên tục tới khi xuất hiện dòng

configuration and proceed [y/n] ?
B5: Nhấn phím y để đồng ý reset lại default như ban đầu lúc mới xuất xưởng (file cấu hình sẽ bị mất).


Sau khi reset xong router sẽ boot lại bình thường không có password gì cả.
Chú ý: Nên dùng hyperterminal để thực hiện, các chương trình khác có thể không chạy được khi nhấn phím y để reset.
